How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Firstly, you will need to transport from the airport to the the wharf.

There are numerous ways in which you can do this. Return airport transfers are available for booking with Atmosphere Transfers. These are AUD$44 return per person (Or $22 one way), and can be booked with reception prior to your arrival. In order to book these you will need to provide us with your flight details. This journey takes approximately 15 minutes.

Once at the wharf, you will be instructed to hop on a ferry that will take you to the island. This ferry service is free of charge and takes approximately 3 minutes to take you across to the other side. The ferry runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so it is available for guests to use any time of the day as and when they please so there is no timetable to abide by.

Are airport transfers available?

My flight gets in past midnight, will I still be able to check in?

Yes. Our reception is open 24 hours a day, so there will definitely be someone to greet you and check you into your room. Please note that you are required to book your accommodation for the night before when arriving past midnight to ensure you have a lovely place to rest before the exciting day ahead of you.

How long does it take to get to Port Vila?

It takes approximately 3 minutes on a ferry to get to Port Vila from Iririki.

Are there cots available for my infant?

Cots for infants are available upon request, free of charge.

Is fishing allowed on the island?

Unfortunately, fishing is not permitted on the island. However, there are a number of fishing charters that are available for booking through Guest Relations if you would like to go fishing during your stay.

Are there towels available for guests at the pools?

Yes. Pool / beach towels are included in your room. Towels are not available for Day Pass guests

Is there a timetable for the ferry that takes you across to Port Vila?

There is no fixed timetable for the ferry. It comes and goes when it is needed 24 hours a day. For guests wanting to travel to and from the mainland late at night, there is a button for you to press to signal that you need a ride.

Are babysitting services available?

Yes. Baby sitting services are available. Please contact the reception for more information.

Do you have wi-fi?

Complimentary wi-fi is available to our guests.

How do I enrol my child in Kids Club?

Please contact our Guest Relations team at least 24 hours in advance to enrol your child. Our team will provide you with a form to complete, to give us any necessary information to ensure your child visit is safe and enjoyable

Is there a gym on the island?

Yes. There is a gymnasium on the island which is available between 6:30am and 6:30pm. Usage of this the gym complimentary to guests.  Please note that children are not allowed in the gymnasium without a supervising adult.

Are there safes in the rooms?

Yes. There is a small safety deposit box located in each room.

Are there hairdryers in the rooms?

Yes. There is a hairdryer located in each room.

Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?

Yes. We have special honeymoon and anniversary packages available. Please click here to enquire. Alternatively, because events such as these are very intimate and personal, feel free to contact Guest Relations to come up with a package that suits you.

Is there a tour desk on the island where I can book excursions during my stay?

Yes. Located in the foyer of Azure Restaurant is a tour desk where our friendly Guest Relations staff will help you choose and book tours during your stay.

How do we get to our rooms?

Enjoy a leisurely stroll through our grounds, and your luggage will be brought to your room for you.  At check in you will receive a resort map showing all facilities around the island.

Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?

BSP and ANZ branches as well as other financial institutions for currency exchange are located in the town centre. Business hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. Closed weekends and public holidays. All major cards are accepted at ATM machines.

Do I need to bring an adaptor for my electronic devices?

The electrical socket in Vanuatu is the same as the ones used in both Australia and New Zealand. It is a 3 pinned angled plug, formally known as “Type I” Australian AS-3112.

What is the currency in Vanuatu?

The official currency in Vanuatu is Vatus (Vt). However, Australian dollars are readily accepted in town.

Can I visit just for the day?

We welcome visitors to enjoy the day at Iririki Island Resort & Spa, via the purchase of a Iririki Day Pass from our ferry dock.

Are there vegetarian options available?

Yes. Iririki offers a number of vegetarian dining alternatives upon request. Please make sure you let the staff know if you require a special diet.

Are there gluten free dining options?

Yes. Iririki offers gluten-free dining alternatives upon request. Please make sure you are upfront about this with the staff so we can ensure that there is no gluten in your meals.

Are there dairy free dining options?

Yes. Iririki offers dairy-free dining alternatives upon request. Please make sure you are upfront about this with the staff so we can ensure that there is no dairy in your meals.

Where is breakfast served and what time is it served?

Breakfast is served at Azure Restaurant between 6:30am and 10am daily.

Is the island suitable for mobility impaired guests?

The natural island setting of Iririki is not easily accessible for mobility impaired guests.
